Stories that heal, stories that harm

On Friday 29th June we ran an event in partnership with St Ethelburgas, the London Inter Faith Centre (LIFC), and the International School of Storytelling. It was hosted by LIFC at their beautiful centre in Queens Park, North West London. The event was conceived as an attempt to draw on expertise and experience in the world of biographical (real) storytelling in order to explore why telling and sharing a personal story can have such a powerful impact.

We had originally expected around 45 people, but in the end over 90 signed up – such was the interest in this field of work. It was a participatory day of cross-disciplinary dialogue and discussion with some excellent workshops.
