RECRUITMENT: Paid internship at The Forgiveness Project

The Forgiveness Project has gained a solid reputation for fostering empathy and providing people with tools to break the cycle of harm and retaliation. Over the last year we have been experimenting with a flatter, more progressive organisational culture. This more collaborative way of working has yielded some very exciting developments and placed The Forgiveness Project at a pivotal juncture to be able to strengthen and grow our work.

We are looking to appoint someone to contribute to the smooth running of The Forgiveness Project through the provision of office management and fundraising support. No fundraising experience is necessary but we are looking for someone who has excellent written communication skills, with an ability to articulate a strong message coherently and succinctly. This position is suitable for a recent graduate but most importantly you must be professional, organised, able to prioritise, enthusiastic, self-motivated and comfortable communicating with a wide range of people.

Our core values of integrity; empathy; respect for each individual’s contribution, story and perspective; open reflection, and restoration underpin all our work. We seek to model these internally as well as in all our work and programmes.

The role will be based in our office in central London, UK. The position is a paid internship of three days a week for three months with the likelihood of future employment, depending on suitability and available funding. The office is located on the third floor of a building which has no lift – please mention any accessibility requirements in your application.

Please send a CV and covering letter outlining your experience and reasons why this internship appeals to you. Applications to be emailed to office@theforgivenessproject.com by 5pm, 10 February 2017. We are hoping to hold interviews the week of the 13 February 2017.

No agencies please.
