CalMacAninch-My-Eyes-Went-Dark.-Images-by-Bronwen-SharpOn Wednesday 9th September, Marina Cantacuzino will be taking part in a post-show Q&A at The Finborough Theatre, with  Matthew Wilkinson, the writer/director of ‘My Eyes Went Dark’ and actors Cal MacAninch and Thusitha Jayasundera.

The play starts at 7.30pm and the Q&A will begin at 9.15pm.

Inspired by real events, ‘My Eyes Went Dark’ is a new play by Matthew Wilkinson, developed through the National Theatre Studio and produced by 107group. Nikolai Koslov, a Russian architect and father, avenges the death of his family in a plane crash – by killing the air traffic controller he holds responsible. Maintaining he can’t remember his crime, Koslov serves four years in a Swiss prison before being suddenly released. Back home he is greeted as a national hero and is even given a ministerial position. But guilt and remorse cannot stay buried forever.

The play is running at The Finborough Theatre until 19th September, and the 107group have generously offered to donate 10% of any profits from the production to The Forgiveness Project – we are very proud to be involved in this fascinating piece of work!
